Fans who complained of seeing Tom Hardy and some black players in their first trailer get what they want this time.
The second full trailer of Venom was released Monday night, and unlike the first, he showed the title character.
When the first trailer was released in February, some fans complained because the star was Tom Hardy in his role as Eddie Brock, not his alien symbiot. No worries this time. The new trailer delivers Venom in all its forms, from black goo to the monstrous creature who really needs to see an orthodontist.
A new poster also shows the two characters.
Marvel Comics Character Brock is a reporter and an enemy of Spider-Man, who binds with the symbiote to become Venom. The film comes from the new Sony Marvel Universe, and not from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Michelle Williams and Riz Ahmed are also stars. Venom is scheduled to release on October 4 in Australia and October 5 in the United States and the United Kingdom.
